Abe and Hassan are both new to the neighborhood. They are outsiders scrambling to fit in. They are working to live the American Dream, impress the ladies of the garden club and rule their new suburban social scene. But at what cost?

Recently, Jennie's play Cherry received a reading in Naked Angels' First Monday reading series. Her commissioned play My Shoes Are In Secaucus opened Working Man's Clothes Productions' 2 nd Annual Binge Festival. Jennie is a member of the all-female comedy troupe The Greasy Girlz, which has performed in New York and Los Angeles. The group will premiere its serial podcast, JudyAlive!, which Jennie wrote, this fall. M.F.A., The New School for Drama.

A graduate student in search of 'real Vietnamese culture' stumbles across a sarcastic Miss Kai in her 'authentic' Vietnamese restaurant. Who owns what culture, and when we search for the genuine article, what are we really looking for?

C.S. Hanson’s plays include Answers (American Globe/Turnip Theatre Festival); The Sabbatical (Pittsburgh New Works); and Becoming Becoming (Muse of Fire).  Hanson’s work has been developed at Ensemble Studio Theatre, Theatre for the New City, New Jersey Rep, Metropolitan Playhouse, Polaris North, and FirstStage/L.A., among other venues. In 2007, she received a commission from America-in-Play that resulted in the short comedy Falutin. Awards: Actors Theatre of Louisville Heideman finalist for Extremes; numerous honors for The Leak; and Scriptapalooza award for Everybody Loves Raymond spec script.  New material presented at Naked Angels’ Tuesdays at 9.
